Do you offer luggage storage?
We offer luggage storage on check-in day, before the rooms are available, and on the day of check-out free-of-cost.
Can I borrow a hairdryer from the reception?
Yes, not a problem - you simply leave a 10€ deposit while you're borrowing it.
Can I use my own sleeping bag?
Unfortunately not - for many reasons we do not allow this including it may contain bugs without you knowing from a previous visit to a festival or other hostel, hygiene in general. We provide free sheets, towels - so no need for a sleeping bag!

yes, we have a guest kitchen.. usually open from 8am to 10pm..
Hi! How far away is it from the airport/how do we get there? And is it close to any main attraction? Thanks
The Airport is about 1 hour away by public transport. We are in the historic center - former East Berlin - so main sights regarding that are close - some in walking distance like Museums Island, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag etc.
Our flight lands in berlin at 8.00 am, Can we drop our luggage at your hostel and finally checkin at 2.00pm ?
Yes, you can lock your luggage in the reception area on arrival day before check in and on departure day also - for free. We also have a free safe at reception for valuables.
In ‘twin room with shower’ do I get the whole room to myself including a private shower area?. I’m booking the room for 2 guests (me and my dad)
A twin with shower is a private room - just for the 2 of you - with 2 separate beds, a shower and a washbasin - not a full bath. Toilets are available outside the room across the floor and shared with other guests.
Is there a bike rental shop or shared bike station near by?
There are plenty of smaller places nearby where you can get a bike. A professional bike rental is at TV Tower - Fat-Tire Bike - which we recommend for groups or special requests etc. And then it's the shared bikes everywhere - book by app.
Do you have aircon in rooms?
No. And as much as we would love to offer colder rooms in hot times, it's unfortunately nothing we would invest in due to the implications and problems involved. So in a way we also decided to not offer this. Sorry Tom
Hi, good morning! I've seen various comments on Booking.com about a kitchen being offered for guests. Can you confirm there will be one available at the end of August? Also, does the breakfast usually have vegan options? Thanks!
The kitchen is open and available.. of course it's possible that the kitchen is closed for cleaning or so.. but it's available in general and free.. the breakfast includes vegan and gluten free options.
We have a group of 6 people, is it possible to guarantee we can be allocated to the same 6-bed dormitory?
we cannot guarantee 100% - there are some rare case and emergencies - like 2 times a year or so.. but in general - 99,9% you will be in one room.

We offer mid sized lockers.. for the standard "overhead" luggage size.. you would need a padlock, which we also offer for free at reception.. 10 Euro deposit needed.. At any time you can store valuables for free in our safe at reception..
Is it quiet at night?
It depends! First of all your question probably is: Will I get some/good sleep? It really depends on you, the time of year, the day/s you book. We are not the most quiet hostel in Berlin as we are in the center opposed to some quiet street in the outer areas - also we have many "party" tourists - especially in the summer when nights are long and hot. We definitely do not receommend the place for families with young kids for various reasons or if you need to write your exam the next day. However, we do try to make our best to keep it quiet - we have staff checking the floors at night etc.. In general: You will get some/good sleep unless you are unlucky in which case we will try our best to find some solution to it.. but please do not compare this to a quiet 12-bed guest house in the hills of nowhere.. no matter how nice it is there too!
i was wondering if you accept credit and debit cards?
we accept standard cards like Amex, Visa, Master - but also Debit and mobile payment.. European standards like Giro and VPay - but not JCB and special cards

unfortunately.. and if you think about: how could we.. from bookings and names you can only guess who is female.. in the traditional sense.. if you ask for it, we can make a note and try our best..
It is possible to book 6 beds all in one dormitory (to stay togheater whit other friends)?
Yes, this is possible - best option to book then is a 6-bed-room. Usually this is no problem - but we do not guarantee 100%. In rare cases - like 2-5 times a year - there are reasons - especially last minute bookings, where we have to split a group. So we can guarantee 99,99%
Good morning, in 2020 I made a reservation that was already paid for but then suspended due to covid. How can I reuse it from you? Do I book the dates and deduct the amount already paid? Thank you
It's quite late, but usually promised this for the "next year" - so based on the old booking-number we can check.. please contact the hostel with some data..

Hello, how many beds is in “Bunk Bed Mixed Dormitory Room”. There wasn’t any info on it. Appreciate timely response as I need a place from 12 Sep.
The big dorm has about 30 beds on about 300 sqm in 2 rooms and plenty of shared bathrooms. Some single beds, but mostly bunk beds.
Does the card provided on check in have to be a credit card , or is an international UP debit card enough? Thank you
usually the use of debit cards is limited.. depends on the bank etc.. but in general we - or our provider - accepts anything, that is a valid payment option on the spot..
